Every Christmas my mom makes my kids homemade pj's! They open them Christmas eve and they get so excited to see what kind of pattern they will be. And since my mom lives 1500 miles away, it's nice that she is part of our family tradition, even though she can't be here.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity, love your layout!
I really love the LO. So cute, fun and creative.

Every Christmas we gather at my Uncle's house, my mom's brother. The other siblings and cousins also will join us. We laugh, eat, watch football, and play the slot machine. Then we open gifts. The best and funniest gift is the person who gets the mouse skull. I know it sounds strange, but we are a strange family, lol. The little skull is on a piece of yarn. You never know who is gonna get it, because it is always wrapped good.
ReplyDeleteYour layouts are just too cute! Our family tradition (every year) is to sit down and watch 'A Charlie Brown Christmas', EVERYDAY! :) I'm already a follower. Thank you for a chance to win your awesome candy!

We gather early Christmas morning, at my house, and everyone opens their gifts together as a family. Now that my kids are grown and have kids of their own, it's even more special!

One of my favorite traditions is way before Christmas Eve. We have St. Nickolaus on Dec. 6th. We used to set a boot outside and it would get filled with goodies if you were good or switches if you were bad. I am 43 and we still do this. Well, we don't set the boots out anymore but we get our stockings filled.
ReplyDeleteYour lo is sweet. I love the little black bird, he's so cute. Thanks for sharing.

When we put up the tree every year we have a box of chocolates, cookies, hot chocolate and cokes in the lil glass bottles while Christmas blars in the background. It started with my husbands parents. we carry it on as well. It turns out to be bigger every year with family & frends. just one event we look forward to every year.

Hi Susan, I think your layout is fabulous! I have just gotten into using Stickles and so has my 3 year old! She snuck into mommy's craft room and had a grand old time with about 5 of them along with some paint. She decorated my mini laptop, my ATG gun, my table, papers I had, my chair, oh, and yes, herself!!! Great blog, I'm a follower and I'm putting yours on mine under Cricut and die cutting.
