Gypsy Scrapbook Page 8x8

Hi All...I am loving my Gypsy. It has created a whole other level to scrapbooking and card making. I created this page on my way home from my mom and dads today. I like the 8x8 layout. It doesn't seem so overwhelming....like I didn't feel like I had to keep coming up with stuff to fill the page. This was a perfect size. I learned this little 8x8 technique from my friend, Emma. I layed an 8x8 square out on layer 1 and then just started adding and made sure everything fit perfectly. I just love this page and I love the look on my dads face.

My First Card Made With My New Gypsy

Hi All...
I made this cute frog card with my new Gypsy. It's a combination Mother's Day/Birthday present from my husband.
Notice the bling on her toe nails....I bought those at the Dollar Tree. They are little stones for your nails. Only a $1. I think I might have to go back and stock up on those. They are so cute.
Well this card is for my mom. I think it will perk her up a little. She needs to have a little fun this summer and not work so much around the house. Maybe this will make her feel summery.
I sure have enjoyed playing with my Gypsy and if it weren't for Emma at creativetimeforme.com it would have been a lot harder to figure out. Thanks Emma :)
Have a great day all....let me know whatcha think of my card.
Hugs!! Susan

More Thank You Cards

Hi Everyone,
Here are a couple of cards I made today. I was hoping to get more done but we went to Conner Prairie Farms yesterday and I had so much fun that I over did it and I don't feel real well today. After a good nights sleep tonight, I should be as good as new. Have a great weekend.

More Jewelry

Hi All...I'm having a blast with my new hobby. I made all of this today. It goes really fast. I had a co-worker ask me today if I was going to give up scrapbooking for jewelry making HAHAHAHA. NO WAY!! I'm sure the look on my face was a shocked look. Anyway, I have just been creating up a storm. I hope you all are having a great day.

Jewelry Making

I learned a new skill today. My sister n law has gotten into making jewelry and a couple of years ago for Christmas my husband bought me some jewelry making accessories. I never used them because I was intimidated. Teresa's jewelry was so beautiful that I thought I'd try it again. I love it!! Here's a picture of what I made today. Have a great rest of your weekend.

National Scrapbooking Day Challenge 11 - "Colors of the Rainbow"

Well...I've seen some of these colors in a rainbow. For some reason I struggled with this one. It's cute but I really don't dig my handwriting. Have a great day.

National Scrapbooking Day Challenge 9 - "Take Shape"

My friend Emma came up with a challenge to make a card, scrapbook page or project that was made out of a shape. This is my beautiful granddaughter Emily. She has on bibbed overalls and I thought of that cute barn on my Create a Critter cartridge. I hope you like it.

National Scrapbooking Day Challenge 12 - "Critter-licious"

My challenges are getting out of order. This challenge was to make something using a critter. I just got my Create a Critter cartridge today (early mother's day gift from my husband). Here is what I came up with. Have a great day.

Got Me Some Hemp

Check this out. My friend Mary from cardztv.blogspot.com has gone on and on about how she is loving this hemp cord. So I went to Wally World tonight and found it...she's right, it's awesome. I'll be finishing my Pink Stamper challenges tomorrow and incorporate my new hemp cord. Thanks Mary.

National Scrapbooking Day Challenge 4 - I Like You the Least

This challenge is to use your least favorite cartridge. This came from Doodlecharms. It came with my first Cricut. I still love this cartridge though...I just use it the least. Hope you like it.

National Scrapbooking Day Challenge 3 - Thinking Outside the Box

This one was challenging. I had originally added some felt that was like a flourish and it had adhesive on the back. That was a sticky mess. I won't use that anymore. So I got out some fuzzy ribbon (for lack of a better word) that I have never used. I think it worked out pretty good on this page. This is my sweet niece Stefani who is expecting her first child in 3 weeks. She's having a boy named Parker.

National Scrapbooking Day Challenge 2 - Getting Scrappy

This is a card using all my scraps. Well....not all of them. Having a great scrappy day. Hope you are too.

National Scrapbooking Day Challenge 1 - Mother's Day Card

Hi All...Happy Scrapbooking Day. Here is my Mother's Day card I made today. I'm usually pretty critical of my work...but today I'm pleased. I hope you all like it. Have a great day.
