Christmas in July Blog Hop

Hi Everyone....
Welcome to the Christmas in July Blog Hop.  If you just came from visiting Pam then you are in the right place.
I remember when Christmas was over this last year and I didn't want to quit making Christmas projects.  I love Christmas.  I love what Christmas is about.  To celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ brings joy to my heart.
I want to thank Miss Nicolette for hosting this blog hop.  She is a wonderful coordinator.  Thank you Nicolette.  This is where you will find the beginning of our blog hop http://www.beyondscrapin.com
So...on to the  hop.  I LOVE, LOVE this cartridge.  Jolly Holidays...it was the last one on the shelf.  I can't believe I was able to get it because my husband and I didn't leave the house on Black Friday until late in the evening.  Phew...that was lucky.
Who loves the movie Elf?  You'll recognize the sentiment if you have seen that moving a zillion times like we have.  It's one of my favorite Christmas movies.  I also love National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The Santa Clause and Trapped in Paradise too.
Here is my card...I made this one for my brother, Jimmy.  I think he'll get a kick out of it.  I hope you like it.

Fall Colors Challenge

Happy Sunday Everyone...
This is a layout I came up with for a fall layout challenge for Queen of my Craftroom.  It took me f-o-r-e-v-e-r...but it was very fun and I really like the way it came out.  My husband and I have a tradition to go down to Metamora, IN for their annual Canal Days flea market.  It's like our kick-off to fall.  We just love it.  I hope you enjoy.

My Pink Stamper Design Team Call Entry

Hi Everyone...
I'm gonna try out for My Pink Stamper's design team.  Her challenge is to use the colors: orange, brown, green and turquoise.  I can't believe that I actually found a background mat that has all of those colors.  But I also tried to incorporate those colors into the rest of the card.  Wish me luck.

Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge - Wild Card or Just Because

Good Morning...
How is everyone doing?  Blogger seems a little messed up...I can't even see my friends/followers anymore.  Anyway, I decided to participate in Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge.  The challenge is to use the Wild Card cartridge or the Just Because Cards cartridge.  Also, you are to incorporate dry or  heat embossing.  I used the Birds & Swirls embossing folder and adhesive pearls from Recollections.  I was pleased with the way this card came out.  I also used some of Emma's stamps.  I hope you all have a wonderfully blessed week.

Hi Everyone...
This is a summer themed layout I came up with for a challenge over at Queen of my Craftroom.  This is my sweet little great nephew playing in the park and feeding the ducks.  He's such a cutie pie.  I hope you like it.
