Glad You're My Dad

Glad You're My Dad

Hi Everyone...
It's been a long time it seems since I've posted anything.  It's been a rough winter.
On today's post the CardzTV Card Designers are celebrating our dads...
This Fathers Day will be my first without my dad but I'm still going to celebrate him.
I'm proud to be his daughter and he was a wonderful dad.  What I'm going to do is laminate
his card and somehow try to attach it to a little shepherds hook that my niece took out to
the cemetery to hang the American flag.
Dad was so patriotic.
Since we're celebrating our dads, I'll tell you about mine...
Dad was a hard worker, wonderful provider,
loved his family and
everything always tasted better off of dads plate LOL.
He loved us.  He never took... He was always a giver.  If you had the pleasure of knowing my dad, you were blessed.  He would never let anyone go hungry.
I miss my dad.  I'm a daddy's girl.
I cry as I'm writing about him.
He is and was a wonderful dad,
husband, papaw and papaw gg.
So here is my card for my dad.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY IN HEAVEN DAD

  25. I can so relate to the tough winter thing Susan. Since the loss of my husband in Oct, it has been the same way for me. He was a Papaw too! Not to many are called Papaw, so I loved it when I read that your dad was called Papaw. Take your time grieving, we all have our own timeline for that. When you love as deeply as we have, it just isn't a grieve that can be rushed. I love your card and I love the idea you have of putting it on the shepards hook at the grave side, I might take that cue from you! My thoughts and prayers are with you my friend. Hugs, Brenda
